The Mühlbachstüberl has a long history.
It was built in 1988 by Brigitte and Reinhold Langegger.
The restaurant was known for its good, down-to-earth cuisine.
Reinhold was the cook, Brigitte the waitress. It was that simple.
Later, the small guesthouse with 6 rooms and an apartment was added.
Carina and her sister Michaela grew up where there was cooking, music and laughter. A picture-book childhood. Mostly outside, at am Mühlbach.
The Mühlbachstüberl has remained Carina’s home.
Only two things came in between: the wide world and love.
Carina and Manuel’s paths crossed for the first time in Bad Gastein.
Soon numbers were exchanged and they met again.
A shared experience brought the two closer together.
Carina had an accident one day in August.
Manuel too. On the exact same day, just three years earlier.
Are there coincidences? Not really.
Climbing became their shared passion.
With yoga came the desire to delve deeper in addition to wanting to climb higher.
In 2017, the two flew to Australia for two months to go bouldering. An adventure.
The second adventure: the birth of little Damian.
The little globetrotter celebrated his first birthday in Bali.
There, Carina and Manuel delved deeper into the practice and understanding of Ashtanga Yoga. Amidst rice fields, there was also a proposal from the man who never wanted to marry. That’s just the way it is when happiness is boundless.
Back home, an emotional wedding celebration was held.
On 6/6/2020 in Bad Hofgastein.
“Growing together, living together.”
The saying on the wedding candle is the mantra
that accompanies the two through all the ups and downs.
Life is sometimes complicated.
But so much easier when you really like each other.
Julian Willi was born in September 2021.
Growing up at am Mühlbach. Probably the most beautiful thing on earth.
The stream still babbles peacefully along.
Still a place where the world is still in order.
The couple’s philosophy is simple:
To live according to your own nature.
To let the roots thrive and grow even deeper.
Without rush and without haste.
